Abstract: The author points out that Caesar is not the leading role in Julius Caesar. Instead, the real leading roles are Mark Antony and Marcus Brutus. He sees the eternal value of this play residing in the speeches delivered at Caesar's funeral repectively by these two men, through which Antony employs the skill of irony to gain a landslide victory over Brutus.
