FANG CHEN, Professor of Chinese Theatre at National Taiwan Normal University and former president of Chinese-Taipei Theatre Association, has done research at Stanford University. A member of The Phi Tau Phi Scholastic Honor Society and a recipient of many grants and awards from Mainland Affairs Council and National Science Council for her academic works, she has authored over a dozen books on Chinese theatre. She is also the co-playwright (with Ching-His Perng) of Shake-xiqu Bond (adapted from The Merchant of Venice) and Measure, Measure! (adapted from Measure for Measure).
