Tai Hsin-yi graduated from the Fu Hsing Dramatic Arts Academy and Chinese Culture University. An actress of wudan (military female), she has studied with Chinese opera masters Liu Qi, Yeh Hongzhu, and Zhang Zhenfang. Notable performances include Stealing Silver from the Treasury, The Hu Village, The Hole, Presenting a Pearl at the Rainbow Bridge, Stopping the Horse, and Saw the Pot. She has performed in Shanghai and won critical acclaim for her art.
