Ke Yu-tze graduated from the Professional High School of Taiwan College of Performing Arts, specialising in laosheng (old male) roles. He was a student of Li Fu-pei, Chu Fu-min, Tang Wen-hua, and has learned The Grand Inauguration, The Bead Curtain Den, The Gold Platform, and In the Palace.
