Lee Yi-chin / Composer

Graduated from the music department of the Taiwan University of Arts. Lee earned the scholarship from the Council of Cultural Affair and the recommendation to study in New York. Lee has been a music composer for music production companies, and has composed many pieces for television commercials. Lee won a Golden Horse award for his music composition for the experimental film Eat, and was nominated for the Best Music in 1995 for Peony Pavilion. Lee participated in Li Tai-xiang’s Sound of Void as a conductor in 1988. Lee is a constant collaborator with Contemporary Legend Theatre and Tai Gu Tales Dance Company, having composed numerous music pieces including Dance of Sensibility, The Sun, Life and Light, Fly and King Lear. Lee is presently making music for contemporary theatre, dance and film productions, and for the music industry.
