Abstract:synopsis
A Midsummer Night’s Dream is a triple plot story associated with the marriage of Duke Theseus and Queen Hippolyta.

In the first plot, Hermia’s father forces her to marry Demetrius, neglecting that she is crazy in love with Lysander. As a result, the lovers plan to meet in the woods and try to elope. Hermia tells their plan to her best friend, Helena, who falls for Demetrius but is refused. In order to please Demetrius, Helena reveals Hermia’s elopement to him. At night, Hermia tries to find Lysander in the woods, unknowing that she is trailed by Helena who also has a follower, Demetrius. The four are all lost in the woods and exhaust to take a sleep.

Meanwhile, King of fairies, Oberon, and the queen, Titania, enter the same woods for the sake of participating the Duke couple’s weeding. However, since Titania refuses to let Oberon employ her servants, the fairy king decides to put some tricks on her.

On the other hand, the weaver, Bottom, and his labor friends are practicing the tragedy “Pyramus and Thisbe” in the woods, in order to perform on the Duke couple’s wedding. But it turns out to be a ridiculous comedy…

The three stories interweave in the woods, notating the melody of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
