Abstract：Spring Wind Art Theatre invited Hinrich Horstkotte from Berlin to direct Shakespeare’s classic A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Focusing on the visual this time, Horstkotte is strict with the actors about the preciseness of emotion, movement and action. He has also added Taiwanese elements to the performance.

高雄南風劇團創作視野從本土轉向國際，挑上莎翁名作《仲夏夜之夢》，邀請來自柏林的導演亨利．赫斯考特執導，曾以傀儡劇形式搬演《仲夏夜之夢》的他，這次將從視覺出發，透過場面調度和畫面構圖詮釋莎劇並融入東方戲曲的表演程式，展現東方味。

《仲夏夜之夢》在亨利．赫斯考特的排演下，嚴格要求演員的情緒、走位、肢體精準度，同時修改一些原作的歌曲、打油詩、傳說故事、甚至是名字，再加入屬於台灣的意象。演出時間為九月三日，地點在高雄中正文化中心至德堂。
