Abstract：Taiwan Bangzi Company was invited to perform in the 4th British Shakespeare Association Conference. Bond is composed of three plots about bond, and is a work of art combining both Eastern and Western drama. It is not only faithful to the original but also full of the beauty of traditional Chinese opera.

今年榮獲英國國王學院邀請將參加 9 月 11 日在倫敦舉行的「第四屆英國莎士比亞雙年會」演出的我國豫劇團，即將在 11 月底開始公演跨文化戲劇精品「豫莎劇《約／束》」。此外，我國的「豫莎劇」也將在全世界莎劇專家學者面前，展現四功五法的精采樣貌。

《約／束》改編自莎劇名著《威尼斯商人》，可算是我國豫劇跨文化作品中，涵容東西方戲劇精神的佳作。既忠於莎士比亞原著的精義，保留故事原形，又在表演藝術上，巧妙地運用中國傳統戲曲的美感。

經由製作群的巧手，《約／束》以三個重要的「約束」情節，串起了複雜的人性衝突、愛情友情的掙扎、守約與背盟的糾葛。其中隱約透露出女性意識的覺醒，以及同性之間的戀情，交織成這一齣以愛恨悲喜遊走舞台的絕妙好戲。
