Abstract：The course provides an English-learning environment via reading and acting Shakespeare. Students will be performing Romeo and Juliet in groups.
This major target of this course focuses on establishing a comprehensive English-learning environment for participants by virtue of reading and acting in plays of Shakespeare and therefore getting approached into the mysterious love world of this prestigious prodigy, William Shakespeare. Members of this class will have to form a well-organized collaboration altogether and be provided an opportunity to join in a real theatre performance of Shakespeare’s acclaimed Romeo and Juliet by the end of March, 2007 (March the 29th). The class will be divided into a variety of groups, such as, stage design, lightening, sound effect/music, costume and make up, dramaturgy, acting, and so on and so forth, in order to make its debut a blockbuster success!
