The drama department of the College of Chinese Culture will present two dramas “A Midsummer Nights Dream” from tonight to May 14 and “A tale of Woe of the Ching Court” from May 16 to 20 at the National Taiwan Arts Center on Nanhai Road, Taipei.
“A Midsummer Nights Dream” will be presented in Chinese. For the past ten years, the department has spent their efforts translating, producing and popularizing Shakespeare’s play in Chinese. The director of this performance is Hung Shan-chun and Chung Hu-shen, and the performers are all senior students of the department.
“A tale of Woe of the Ching Court” is directed by Yang Chin-pang, and Chang Wen-ching. The performers are junior students.
Admission tickets are available at Kung Hsueh Sheh, and many other book-stores in Taipei.
