Ma Pao-shan as Alonso
Ma Pao-shan trained at the military corps troupe of Da Wan Chinese Opera Company, the Department of Theatre Arts of the Chinese Culture University and the Directors’ Group, Theatre Research Centre, of the Taiwan University of the Arts. He is currently with the Kuo Kuang Chinese Opera Company, and was one of the founding members of the Contemporary Legend Theatre (CLT). He performed the wusheng (military male) repertoire of works of Kuo Kuang, such as The Pulley, Chang-ban-po, Lu Wenlong, The Elegant Vista Mansion, etc. He also directed The Red Boy of Wind and Fire, Fan Jin Becomes a Titled Scholar – A New Version. He was on the cast of many productions of CLT, such as The Kingdom of Desire, War and Eternity, Lo Lan Nu (Medea) and Oresteia.
