Lu Yu-kun as Gonzalo
Lu Yu-kun graduated from the China Academy of Chinese Opera. He has worked for China’s National Peking Opera Company and the Beijing Kunqu Opera Company. He has appeared in traditional plays such as Zhong Kui, Execution of Chen Shimei, The Intrigue, Mouth of River Jiu, Two Generals, The Black Basin, The Fire Judge and The Peony Pavilion, as well as in new plays such as the experimental Peking opera Good Wishes, the folksong theatre The Puppeteer, the children’s play Looking for Paradise, and the musical Fan Li and Xi Shi. He has toured many countries in Asia and Europe. He currently teaches at the Taiwan College of Performing Arts.
