Liu Hsueh-kun as Antonio
Liu Hsueh-kun is a member of Kuo Kuang Chinese Opera Company. He graduated from the Fu Hsing Dramatic Arts Academy, specialising in wenchou (civil comic) roles. He joined the Hai Kuang Chinese Opera Troupe after graduation and was the leading chou (comic) actor for over thirty years. Notable roles include Tang Chin, Chiang Kan, and caidan (comic female) and old women’s roles. He won Best Chou of the 21st Armed Forces Golden Statues Awards for Literature and Arts and the Best Actor Award from the Cultural Construction Committee. He has also performed in modern theatre, cinema, and on television production. He has over forty years of experience and has toured Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
