Wang Kwan-chiang / Rehearsal Director; as the Butler / Boatswain
Wang Kwan-chiang graduated from Ming-tuo National Opera Academy and the Drama Department of Taiwan University of the Arts, specialising in wuching (painted face) and directing. He is a founding member of the Contemporary Legend Theatre and has performed in The Kingdom of Desire, War and Eternity, The Last Days of Emperor Lee Yu, Lo Lan Nu (Medea) and Oresteia. He has also performed in the Kuo Kuang Chinese Opera Company’s Cheng Cheng-Kung and Never Dawn. He has co-directed Journey through Hell and directed the children’s play The Dragon Pearl.
