A grotesque piece showing actors wearing Elizabethan costumes and a rubber head mask of Shakespeare interacting with other characters. Acts of writing are shown as twisted and often abruptly interrupted, and the Shakespeare figures enact self-mutilation upon request. Absurd, the play can be said to be a reflection, or a mockery, of all our futile attempts to interpret, adapt and, eventually, abuse Shakespeare. The visual effects are stunning.
